LOUISBURG - Funeral services for Shirley “Linda” Smith, 51, who died Thursday, Oct. 15, 2009, were conducted Tuesday, Oct. 20, at Allen Chapel Baptist Church, with the Rev. Stanley Dunston officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

Surviving: sisters, Lucy Webb and Annie Perry, both of Franklinton, Dorothy Webb of Bunn, Gertrude Evans and Mozelle Burnett, both of Raleigh, and Elaina Williams of Louisburg; brothers, John Smith of Franklinton, Eddie Smith of Youngsville, Charlie Smith of Kittrell, Donald Smith of Ingleside and Roger Smith of Bunn.
