LOUISBURG - Funeral services for James Harvey Alston, 77, who died Thursday, Oct. 29, 2009, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 5, in the Richardson Funeral Home chapel in Louisburg, with the Rev. Spencer Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the Edwards Grove cemetery in Warrenton.

Surviving: daughters, Judy Bullock and Deborah Calloway, both of Raleigh; sisters, Sadie Alston of Bronx, N.Y., and Delores Grant of Hillside, N.J.; brother, Virgil Alston of Whitesboro, N.J.; and two grandchildren.

Open visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. today (Wednesday, Nov. 4) at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg.
