FRANKLINTON - Leon Morgan, 53, died Friday, Aug. 4, 2006 at DeWitt Hospice Home in New York, N.Y. Funeral services were conducted Saturday, Aug. 12 at Manasseh Chapel Baptist Church, Franklinton, with the Rev. Samuel T. Tunstall officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

He was born in New York, N.Y., son of the late Robert and Irene P. Morgan. He was employed most of his adult life as a buyer for the Open Center Bookstore in New York.

Surviving: two daughters, Yvette Morgan of New York and Emilia Morgan of Connecticut; three aunts, one uncle, and many cousins.
