WAKE FOREST - Betty  L. Terry, 70, of Wake Forest died Thursday, Dec. 17 at WakeMed.

Terry was born in Wake County to the late Lester and Mary Lucas Giles.

Funeral services are scheduled for today (Wednesday) at 2 p.m. at Mt. Calvary Holiness Church of Wake Forest with the Rev. Littlejohn officiating.

Burial will follow in the Phelps Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery in Youngsville.

The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. on Wednesday at the church and other times at 3912 Old Coach Road in Raleigh.

Terry is survived by two daughters, Tara Terry and Darlene Jeffreys (Tim) of Wake Forest; one son, Lester Terry (Patricia) of Raleigh; two brothers, Larry Giles (Gladys) of Wendell and Alexander Giles (Angeline) of Raleigh; four sisters, Shirley Adewy, Judy Jeffreys (Mike), both of Providence, R.I., Roselle Ellis of Wendell and Ozelle Spence (Will) of Knightdale; 10 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and a host of neices, nephews and cousins.
