CASTALIA - Lauvenia Shearin Richardson, 68, died Friday, December 25, 2009. Funeral services will be today (Wednesday, December 30, 2009) at 1 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with the Rev. Thomas Richardson officiating.

Surviving: daughter, Cathleen Richardson-Taylor of Nashville; son,  Henry Edward Richardson, Jr. of High Point; sisters, Gladys Coley, Lucy Carter and Ann Shearin, all of Hollister and Lottie Leonard of Nashville;brother, Ronald Shearin of Hollister; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
