FRANKLIN COUNTY - Lillian Freeman, also known as Nanny to so many, who resided in Franklin County, passed away on Monday, December 28, 2009.

She was preceded in death by her sons, Clyde Freeman and Benji Freeman.

She is survived by her two sisters, Rose Hope of Wake Forest and Edna Hawkins of Florida; her children, Albert Freeman, Peter Freeman, Lucy Freeman, Michael Freeman and Francis Freeman; grandchildren, Lisa Freeman, Angela Freeman, Derrick Freeman, Chris Roberts, Nathan Freeman, Joseph Freeman, Christina Freeman, Cynthia Freeman, Tori Freeman; great-grandchild, Austin Freeman.

Funeral services will be held today (Saturday, January 2, 2010) from 6 - 7 :30 p.m. at Spring Hope Funeral Home, 7881 Webbs Mill Road, Spring Hope, NC.
