WAKE FOREST- Adelia “Dee Dee” Knight, 54, died Saturday, Jan. 2, 2010 at The Oaks of Carolina. Funeral services were held Tuesday, Jan. 5, in the chapel of Bright Funeral Home. Burial followed in Wake Cross Roads Baptist Church Cemetery.

She was born in Wake County, the daughter of the late Mannie Kathleen Watkins Knight and Joseph Noel Knight.

Surviving: sisters, Lane K. Lowery of Youngsville, Carol K. Evans of Durham and Rachel Knight-Hendricks of Florida; brother, Neal Knight of Chesapeake, Va.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Bobbie Knight.
