RALEIGH - Hyacinth “Hy” Weathersby Jackson, 95, died Sunday, Jan. 10, 2010 at Rex Hospital. Funeral service was held Tuesday, Jan. 12, in the chapel of Bright Funeral Home, Wake Forest, with the Rev. Al Thomas officiating. Burial followed at Pine Forest Memorial Gardens.

She was born in Franklin County, daughter of the late John Robert and Patty Beulah Medlin Weathersby, and was preceded in death by her husband, Angus Allen Jackson.

Surviving: daughters, Caroline Bruneau (Art) and Sally J. Gryder, all of Raleigh; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
