LOUISBURG - Elizabeth P. Allen, 84, of Louisburg, died Friday, January 8, 2010, in Louisburg Nursing Center.  She was preceded in death by her husband, G.T. “ Big Boy” Allen and her son, Harold T. Allen.  Funeral services were held Monday at 11:00 a.m. from Maple Springs Baptist Church with the Rev. Jay Tilley officiating.  Burial followed in the church cemetery.

She is survived by her former daughter-in-law, Elaine Denton of Louisburg; grandchildren, Neil H. Allen of Butner and Rodney D. Allen and wife, Maribeth of Louisburg; and three great-grandchildren, Ryley, Christian and Mallory.
