ZEBULON - Edna Mumford Wattenbarger, 77, died Monday, Feb. 1, 2010 at her home. Funeral services were Friday, Feb. 5, at Hephzibah Baptist Church, Wendell. Burial was in Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, Zebulon.

She was born in Pitt County to the late John Mumford and Maude Ennis Mumford.

Surviving: husband, Fred M. Wattenbarger; sons, Tommy Lee Thompson of the home, Carl “Scooter” Wattenbarger of Zebulon;  and two grandsons.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Phil Fleming.
