ZEBULON - Allen Harper Green, 92, died Monday, Feb. 15, 2010. The funeral service was conducted Friday, Feb. 19 at Massey Funeral Home. Burial was at Wakefield Cemetery with military honors.

He was born Feb. 3, 1918, the son of the late Pearle Harper and Early Howard Green. He was predeceased by his wife of 42 years, Lucy Tippett Green; brothers, Robert, Albert and Harold Green.

Surviving: daughters, Margie Brantley (Danny), Donna Bunn (Jerry), Mae Ferguson (Tim), and Vicky Griffin (Ronnie); sons, Rick Green (Lisa) and William Green; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
