GARNER - Edith Ellington Ayscue, 78, died Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2010 at home. Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. today (Saturday, Feb. 27) at Bryan-Lee Funeral chapel, Garner. Burial will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park, Raleigh.

She was a native of Franklin County, born to the late Nathaniel Allen Ellington and Minda Lester Ellington.

Surviving: daughters, Debbie Dye (Barney) of Kings Mt., Pamela Brewer (George) of Garner; son, Phillip Ayscue (Ann) of Garner; 12 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Bruce Ayscue; daughters, Miriam Rose Ayscue and Karen Marie Dean; son, Robert Allen Ayscue; and one grandson.
