LOUISBURG – Wilbert Linus Bobbitt, 86, died Wednesday evening, March 3, 2010. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. today (Saturday, March 6) at Lancaster Memorial Park, with the Rev. Luke Smith officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

He was a son of the late John Thomas and Maggie Smith Bobbitt and was a World War II Army veteran.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Margie B. Burnette; brothers, Malcohm Bobbitt and J.B. Bobbitt.

Surviving: wife, Madeline P. Bobbitt; son, Steve Bobbitt (Nancy) of Cary; one aunt; one grandchild; and one great-grandchild.
