WAKE FOREST - E. Marie Shearin Jones, 71, died Saturday, March 6, 2010 at her residence. Funeral services were Monday, March 8, at Faith Baptist Church in Youngsville. She was cremated following the service.

She was born in Franklin County, the daughter of the late Lettie Dorsey Shearin and Thomas Shearin.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman “Ace” Jones.

Surviving: daughter, Tammy Inscoe Corbett (Chester) of Youngsville;  sons, Lathan Inscoe (Carol) of Durham, Master Sergeant Ace W. Jones (Megumi) of Florida; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
