SPRING HOPE —Charles Benson Harris Sr., 86, died Saturday, March 20, 2010 at Louisburg Nursing Center. A graveside service was conducted Monday, March 22, at Duke Memorial Baptist Church cemetery.

Surviving: two daughters, Melody Harris of Castalia and Lisa Byrd of Spring Hope sons, Charles Benson Harris Jr. of Spring Hope and Mike Harris of Zebulon; sister, Genora Greene of Spring Hope; brother, Julian W. Harris of Raleigh; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
