LOUISBURG - Funeral services for Lindberg Lassiter, 82, who died Friday, March 26, 2010, were held Tuesday, March 30, at Shady Grove Baptist Church, with the Rev. John Anthony Hopkins officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

Surviving: wife, Annie M. Lassiter of the home; daughters, Dorothy L. Spivey and Brenda Lynch, both of Louisburg, Elaine Hanzer of Youngsville and Angela Lassiter of Raleigh; stepdaughter, Annie Lavern Lee of Franklinton; sons, George Lassiter of Bunn, Ronnie Lassiter of Youngsville and Randy Lassiter of Louisburg; 47 grandchildren; and 32 great-grandchildren.
