RALEIGH - Frank Amis Reavis, 80, died Saturday, Sept. 2, 2006 at Wake Medical Center. Graveside services were conducted Tuesday, Sept. 5, at Trinity United Methodist Church cemetery, Louisburg.

He was born in Franklin County to the late John Amis Reavis and Mamye Davis Reavis and was a former employee of Colonial Food Stores in Raleigh for many years.

Surviving: his wife, Martha Alexander Reavis; daughters, Jo Anne Anderson (Michael) of Fremont, Mary Jones (Tommy) of Raleigh, and Nancy McLain (Alvin) of Garner; 10 grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his son, Frank Amis Reavis Jr.
