A graveside service with military honors will be conducted for Army 1st Sgt. Douglas White Sr. at Fairview Cemetery in Franklinton on April 8. He died March 26, 2006 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville.

The family will receive friends at the home of Bob and Nancy White, 103 N. Hillsborough St., Franklinton, following the service.
