HENDERSON - Albert Ernest Moss, 93, died Wednesday, May 26, 2010. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. today (Saturday, May 29) at Raleigh Road Baptist Church. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Sunset Gardens.

Born in Vance County, he was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during World War II. He was a retired service manager for the former Eveready Chevrolet and Crowell Chevrolet Companies and was a charter member of Raleigh Road Baptist Church.

Surviving: wife, Katherine Dickerson Moss of the home; sons, Dr. Ronald A. Moss Sr. (Karen) of Raleigh, and Steve E. Moss (Karen) of Henderson; sister, Dorothy Moss of Kittrell; brother, Clifton Moss of Kittrell; four grandchildren; one great-grandson; and one step-grandson.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Raleigh Road Baptist Church, 3892 Raleigh Road, Henderson, NC 27537 or to Lifeline Outreach Inc., P. O. Box 1632, Henderson, NC 27536.
