FRANKLINTON - Frances Newton Bragg, 81, died July 7, 2010. She was born in Granville County, the daughter of the late Annie Mitch Munn Newton and Towns Boyd Newton. She was preceded in death by her husband Willie Henry Bragg, Jr. 
She was a member of Franklinton Baptist church for many years.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today (Saturday, July 10), at Franklinton Baptist Church with Rev. David Averette officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery.

Surviving: daughter, Debbie Dorsey (Tony) of Franklinton; sons Wayne Bragg (Lauren) of Raleigh, Tommy Bragg of Franklinton, Dennis Bragg of Wake Forest; sister, Jean Pleasants of Oxford; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
