RALEIGH - Ruth Roberts Poole, 85, died Monday, July 19, 2010. Funeral service was Thursday, July 22, in the chapel of Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier. Burial followed at the Kennebec church cemetery.

A native of Wake County, she was the daughter of the late Sylvester and Annie Fish Rogers.

Surviving: daughter, Nancy Braswell (Joe) of Bulverde, Tex.; sons, Tony Poole (Kim) of Youngsville, Royster Moore (Arlene) of Raleigh; sisters, Mary Howard of Fuquay-Varina, Pearl Stanton of Henderson, Vera Barbour of Willow Spring, Catherine Davis of Palm Bay, Fla., Lector Gregory of Cary, Frances McClean of Angier; brothers, Lewis Rogers and Coy Rogers, both of Willow Spring; and four grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Clarence Rogers.
