ZEBULON – Leroy Frank Pollard, 74, died Sunday morning, Sept. 17, 2006 at his home. Funeral service was held Tuesday, Sept. 19, at Grace Baptist Church in Louisburg. Burial, followed in Bethlehem Baptist Church cemetery.

He was a retired police sergeant with NC State Fairgrounds Public Safety. He was born in Johnston County, the son of the late Frank and Mildred Sanderford Pollard.

Surviving: his wife, Betty Upchurch Pollard; stepson, Harry Upchurch (Jennifer) of Zebulon; sisters, Margaret Parrish, Madie Rivenbark, Dorothy Davis, all of Raleigh, and Jeannie Kirby of Boone; and two granddaughters.
