HENDERSON —Funeral services for Walter “Stumpy” Branch Jr., 60, who died Monday, Aug. 23, 2010, were held Monday, Aug. 30, at Mitchell Baptist Church in Louisburg, with Pastor Daniel W. Lilly officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

Surviving: his mother, Mearlon Branch of Henderson; daughters, Paris, Marlo, Pastel, Briana, Francheska and LaPrecious; one son, Anthony; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
