LOUISBURG – Lillian Denton Horton, 90, died Saturday morning, Sept. 11, 2010. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. today (Wednesday, Sept. 15) at New Hope Christian Church cemetery.

She was a daughter of the late Joseph and Maggie Chamblee Strickland Denton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bud Horton; son, Gregg Horton; sister, Mavis Jones; and brothers, Paul Denton and Proctor Denton. She was retired from Westinghouse after 25 years of service.

Surviving: her daughter Judy H. Cash (Claude) of Louisburg.

Arrangements are by  Strickland Funeral Home, Louisburg.
