FRANKLINTON -  Jesse Dexter Montague Jr., 27, died Sept. 23, 2010 at Franklin Regional Medical Center in Louisburg. He was born in Durham County to Jesse D. Montague and Mable Scott Montague.

The funeral service will be today (Saturday, Sept. 25, 2010) at 2 p.m. at Pope Chapel UCC in Franklinton with Rev. Leroy Dukes officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Surviving: parents, Jesse D. Montague and Mable Scott Montague of Franklinton; children, Jordan and Jamaya Montague, both of Franklinton; sisters, Pauline Scott-Kearney, Charidy Scott and Shannon Montague, all of Franklinton; four aunts and uncles; ten great-aunts and uncles; and a host of nieces and cousins.
