BUNN - Funeral services for James Phillips Sr., 85, who died Wednesday, Sept. 6, 2010, will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 10, at Nelson Chapel Baptist Church, with the Rev. Emma Solomon officiating.

Surviving: wife, Oveda Phillips of the home; daughter, Cora Campbell of Louisburg; sons, Julius Phillips of Raleigh, Robert Lee Phillips of Virginia Beach, Va., and Arthur Phillips of Portsmouth, Va.; 12 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Wake services will be from 7 to 8 tonight (Saturday, Oct. 9) at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg.
