LOUISBURG – Daniel “Danny” Lane Finch, 58, died Tuesday afternoon, Oct. 19, 2010. Funeral service was Friday, Oct. 22, in the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home. Burial followed at Lancaster Memorial Park.

He was a son of the late James Thomas and Lillie Mae Debnam Finch and was preceded in death by several sisters and brothers.

Surviving: wife, Sylvia C. Finch; sons and daughter-in-law, Heath Finch, Chuck Finch, Ben Finch and Tiffany Finch, all of Louisburg, Phillip Finch of Stony Creek, Va.; daughter, Danielle Finch of Waverly, Va.; sisters, Patricia Bracknell of Franklinton, Betty Jacobs of Hopewell, Va., Maebelle Hodges of Colonial Heights, Va.; brothers, J.T. Finch of Bunn, Bunnie Finch of Wake Forest, Jack Finch and Stacy Finch, both of Raleigh, Bobby Ray Finch of Knightdale; and two grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Saints Delight Baptist Church, Building Fund, 565 Fire Tower Rd., Louisburg, NC 27549.
