RALEIGH - William Henry Ward, 78, died Sunday, Nov. 7, 2010. A service celebrating his life will be held at Davie Street Presbyterian Church on Thursday, Nov. 11. Viewing and family greeting will be held at 11 a.m. and the service will be at noon.

The family will also receive visits at the home of Drs. James and Felicia Hardy, 10013 Waterford Road, Raleigh.

He was a career businessman and was proprietor of a concrete business for more than 35 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Zollie B. and Mable Hill Ward, and a sister, Dorothy Ward Jones.

Surviving: children, Dr. Felecia W. Hardy (Dr. James Hardy) and Everett B. Ward (Cassandra Lloyd Ward); former wife, Dorothy Williams Ward; nieces and nephews; and three grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you make donations to the Saint Augustine’s College Athletic Department in honor of William Henry Ward.
