LOUISBURG - Funeral services for Deacon Otis Gill, 94, who died Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2010, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 13, at Allen Chapel Baptist Church, with the Rev. Stanley Dunston officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Surviving: wife, Anliza Massenburg-Gill of the home; daughters, Dorothy Ann Gill-Waddell and Mary Rose Gill, both of Louisburg, Gloria Edwina Gill of Temple Hills, Md., and Martha Delois Gill Hicks Hardy of Garner; sons, Zollie Willie Otis Gill, Charles Douglas Gill and James Marvin Gill, all of Louisburg; sisters, Juanita Gill Eaton of Louisburg, Marguerite Gill Hill of Inwood, N. Y., and Mamie Gill Brodie of Durham; brother, Norwood Gill of Boston, Mass.; 12 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
