BUNN – Carolyn Rush Files, 76, died Friday morning, Nov. 19, at her home. A memorial service will be 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 24, at Bunn United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Rhonda Maurer officiating. The family will receive friends at the home at all times.

Carolyn was a daughter of the late Leonard Emory and Sallie Mae Wilder Rush. She was an active member of Bunn United Methodist Church and a board member of the Bunn Town Council. She retired from Square D.

Surviving: daughters, Carol Files, Jeanette Pleasants, Erika Hilliard (Bobby); son,  Kurt Files (Kimberly), all of Bunn; sister, Linda Moser of Sun City, AZ; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to Bunn United Methodist Church Helping Hands Child Care Fund, P.O. Box 142, Bunn, NC 27508.
