LOUISBURG – Doza Wester Champion, 77, died  Sunday afternoon, Nov. 21, 2010. Funeral service will be 12 p.m. Wednesday at Saints Delight Baptist Church where she was a dedicated member for many years.

Burial will be in the Stone Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral.

She was a daughter of the late Issac Fraten and Leona Gupton Wester. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Herbert Stone and Bennie Champion, Jr., and sister, Daphine Puckett.

Surviving: daughters, Helen Coats of Garner, Robin Denton (James) of Bailey, Patsy Yates of Bunn, Ginger Champion of Louisburg; sister, Lucy Finch of Bailey; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one niece and three nephews.

Arrangements are by Strickland Funeral Home & Crematory, 103 W. Franklin St., Louisburg.
