YOUNGSVILLE—Thomas Daly, 65, died at home on Friday, Nov. 19, 2010. A funeral mass is scheduled at 11 a.m. today (Wednesday, Dec. 1) at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 520 W. Holding Ave., Wake Forest.

Born in the Bronx, N.Y., he retired from the NYC Hospital Police Force and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was the oldest child of the late Dorothy Hurley Daly and Thomas Daly of Winsted, Conn.

Surviving: wife, Violet Lee Daly of Youngsville; brother, Paul W. Daly (Joanne) of Letitz, Pa.; brother, John C. Daly (Theo) of Manlius, N.Y.; sister, Kathleen Daly of Liverpool, N.Y.; one granddaughter; several nieces and nephews; and two adopted grandchildren.
