BATTLEBORO – Bennie M. Billings, 76, of Battleboro, died Wednesday afternoon.

Bennie was a son of the late Zeb Vance and Sally Wood Billings. He was preceded in death by his wife, Amelia M. Billings; sister, Alberta “Dink” Benton, and brother, Benjamin Billings.

Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home, Louisburg, with the Rev. Jimmy Carpenter officiating. Burial will follow in the Joyner Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service.

Bennie is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Rodney “RB” and Yolly Billings of Orlando, FL; grandchildren, Stephanie and Bryan Billings.

Arrangements are by Strickland Funeral Home & Crematory, Louisburg.
