HENDERSON - Kathleen Blackley “Jenny” Hedgepeth, 82, of Kittrell,  died Saturday, Dec. 12, 2010 at Franklin Regional Medical Center in Louisburg. A graveside service was held Tuesday, Dec. 14, at Fairview Cemetery in Franklinton, conducted by the Rev. Anita James.

Born in Granville County, she was the daughter of the late Jesse Blackley and Nellie Preddy Blackley. She was a retired employee of Lenox China Inc. and was a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church.

Surviving: husband, Gilbert Odell Hedgepeth; a son, Gilbert Bundy Hedgepeth of Kittrell; brother, James Blackley of Franklinton; and one granddaughter. She was preceded in death by a brother, Valen Blackley.
