YOUNGSVILLE - Ruby Lee Perry, 76, died Tuesday morning, Oct. 3, 2006 at Duke Raleigh Hospital. Funeral services were conducted Friday, Oct. 6, in the chapel of Bright Funeral Home, Wake Forest, with the Rev. Dr. Mike Jones officiating. Burial followed in the Smith-Perry family cemetery in Wake Forest.

She was born in Wake County, daughter of the late Letha Bailey Shearon and Orman Shearon, and was preceded in death by her husband, Purvis Perry. Mrs. Perry was retired as an assembler with ABB in Raleigh.

Surviving: a son, James Earl (Dorothy) Perry of Youngsville; daughter, Kathy (Rodney) Hart of Youngsville; brothers, Otee Shearon and Vernon Shearon, both of Wake Forest; two grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
