CHARLOTTE - Funeral services for Robert Richardson, 86, who died Thursday, Dec. 16, 2010, were held Tuesday, Dec. 21, at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg. Burial followed in the Tilmon-Lynch cemetery.

Surviving: daughters, Mary Nesmith of the home and Gloria Jean Smith of Charlotte; son, Fred Richardson of Huntersville; sisters, Willie Bell Boone and Ruthie Mae Harrison, both of Nashville, Martha “Sis” Silver of Castalia and Lola Silver of Louisburg; brother, Claude Richardson of Warrenton; 32 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
