FUQUAY-VARINA—Linda Forsythe Jones, 66, died at her home on Thursday, Dec. 30, 2010. A funeral service was held Saturday, Jan. 1, at Catawba Springs Christian Church.

She was born in Louisburg to Luther Parker Forsythe and Dorothy Boyd Forsythe.  She was retired manager of Buffaloe Lanes South.

Surviving: daughters, Donna (Carl) Kiger of Raleigh, Connie (Ricky) Buffaloe of Fuquay-Varina, and Dawn (Will) White of Raleigh; sister, Dot Lucas; brother, Donnie Forsythe; and seven grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Larry Johnson, and second husband, Glenn Jones; brother, Luther Forsythe Jr.; and sister, Vickie Smith.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Catawba Springs Church Building Fund or Wake Christian Academy Annual Fund.
