WINTON - Elizabeth Wilson “Lib” Jones, 94, died Thursday, Jan. 14, 2011. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 22, at Winton Baptist Church, with the Rev. Joseph Futrell officiating. The family will greet friends Friday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the church.

She was the daughter of Addie Jones Ellington and William Powell Wilson. She was born in the Epsom community of Franklin County. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Jones.

Surviving: daughters, Margaret Jones of Efland and Elizabeth Jones (Steve Kelly) of Greensboro; brother, Gerald Wilson of Louisburg; two granddaughters; and 12 nieces and nephews.
