GUILLERMO G. “BILL” MARIN


LOUISBURG -  Guillermo Gonzalo “Bill” Marin, 71, died Friday evening, January 28, 2011 at his home. He was born in Bolivia, the son of the late Victor Marin Solares and Elena Cordova Marin and was a retired Electronics Engineer with the US Army.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. today (Wednesday, Feb. 23), at Arlington National Cemetery with full military honors.

Surviving: wife, Carolyn Marin; daughter, Michelle Marin of Louisburg; son, William Marin (Valerie) of Springfield, Va.; one grandson; step-children, Tammy Dudding (Wayne) of Louisburg and Terrell Johnson (Michelle) of Youngsville; half-sister, Maura Marin of Bolivia; brothers, Amado Marin (Yola) of Fla. and Edgar Marin (Sofia) of Bolivia; former wife, Rosario Marin of Va.
