WAKE FOREST - Charles R. “Chuck” Spacek, 71, died Saturday, Feb. 19, 2011 at Duke University Hospital. A celebration memorial service will be held at St. Philip Lutheran Church.

He was born in Malvern, Pa., the son of the late Mary and Charles Spacek. He was preceded in death by his son, Cha Spacek. He was a retired chemical engineer and a graduate of Drexel University.

Surviving: wife, Dianne Spacek; daughters, Elizabeth Bohannon of Youngsville, Kris Kell of Elizabethville, Pa., and Cindie Heilig of Lykens, Pa.; 13 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
