WAKE FOREST - Robert Wesley Barham, 82, died Friday, Oct. 13, 2006 at Wellington Nursing Center. Funeral services were conducted Monday, Oct. 16, in the chapel of Bright Funeral Home in Wake Forest with the Rev. Dr. Mike Jones officiating. Burial followed in the Beulah Christian Baptist Church cemetery.

He was born in Wake County, the son of the late Ivan and Repsie Barham. He was a retired tobacco farmer and later retired from Carolina Builders.

Surviving: children, Ernest W. Barham (Susan) of Exeter, N.H., Myrtle B. Mangum (Harvey) of Wake Forest, Joyce B. Wall of Knightdale, and Charles B. Barham (Barbara) of Youngsville; brothers and sister, Macon Barham and Leamon Barham of Youngsville, Elmo Barham of Zebulon, William “Red” Barham of Wake Forest, Lee Barham of Asheville, and Juanita Woodall of Bracey, Va.; seven grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.
