YOUNGSVILLE - Martha Allene Ketring, 76, died Friday, March 4, 2011 at Franklin Regional Medical Center. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon, March 8, in the chapel of Bright Funeral Home. Burial followed in Pine Forest Memorial Gardens.

She was born in Searcy, Ark., the daughter of the late Ruby Clark Brinds and William Brinds. She was a retired registered nurse from Wake Medical Center and was a member of the Red Hat Society.

Surviving: husband, Charles “Charlie” Ketring, Sr.; daughter, Lori Ketring Gongaware of Richmond, Va.; sons, Thom Ketring (Rosemary) of Youngsville, Chuck Ketring, Jr. (Debbie) of St. Louis, Mo.; sister, Millie Fisher of New Port Richey, Fla.; brother, Bill Brinds of Florida; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
