LOUISBURG - Myrtle Massenburg, 67, died Friday, Oct. 13, 2006 at Franklin Regional Medical Center in Louisburg. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, Oct. 21, at 1 p.m. at Mitchell Baptist Church in Louisburg. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Surviving: daughters, Maxine M. Moore of Durham and Carolyn K. Perry of Butner; sons, Curtis D. Kearney of Greensboro and Alex S. Kearney of Austell, Ga.; sisters, Doretha Harrison, Jeanette Massenburg and Suzie Allen, all of East Orange, N. J., Annie Marie Holmes of Newark, N. J., Betty Jean Orr of Paulsboro, N. J., Yvonne Smith of Bloomfield, N. J., and Mahalia Williams of Raleigh; brothers, Joseph Massenburg and Jerome Massenburg, both of Newark, N. J., and Lee Massenburg of East Orange, N. J.; six grandchildren; one great grandchild.

The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 20, at Feggins-Feggins Funeral Chapel in Wake Forest.
