LOUISBURG - Funeral services for Lucy J. Carter, 66, who died Sunday, March 6, 2011, will be Saturday, March 12, at 3 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Leon Carter officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Grove Church cemetery.

Surviving: sons, Donzell Carter of the home, Kendall Carter of Henderson; sisters, Gladys Coley and Ann Shearin, both of Hollister, Lottie Leonard of Nashville; brother, Ronald Shearin of Enfield; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.

Open visitation will be at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg on Friday, March 11, from 3 - 8 p.m.
