FRANKLINTON — Fun- eral services for Gladys Mae Alston Green, 77, who died Thursday, Oct. 19, 2006, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 22, at First Baptist Church, with the Rev. Herbert Bell officiating.

Burial will follow in the Cedar Street Cemetery.

Surviving: daughters, Alyce “Terine” Green of the home, Mary G. Johnson of Louisburg; stepdaughters, Belinda Johnson, Carlene Green and Joslyn Green, all of Bronx, N.Y.; sons, Anthony “Tony” Green of New York, N.Y., and John W. Green of Durham; stepsons, Willie Yarborough of Clinton, Md., and Bobby Johnson of Jersey City, N.J.; sisters, Florine G. Edgerton of Louisburg and Bernice Allen of Baltimore, Md.; one brother, Lawrence Alston Jr. of Franklinton; 15 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and two great, great grandchildren.

Wake services will be from 7 to 8 tonight (Saturday, Oct. 21) at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg.
