RALEIGH - Tom, 77, of Raleigh, passed away April 6, 2011 at his home. Mr. Collins was born in Franklin County on August 1, 1933 and was preceded in death by James Frank Collins and Bonnie Gupton Collins and a sister, Elsie Collins Cooper.

The family will receive family and friends prior to the service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

The funeral will be at 12:00 PM Saturday, April 9, 2011, at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service Chapel, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale, NC 27545, with burial to follow at Montlawn Memorial Park, 2911 S. Wilmington Street, Raleigh, NC 27603.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Mary M. Williams-Collins; his daughters, Terry Collins Dunn and Leigh Collins McKenzie (Kevin); grandchildren, K.C. Watkins, Jr., Sammy Dunn, Mac Mc-Kenzie, Jr. and Lilia MacKenzie; and a close friend, Mike Tracy.
