ZEBULON - Dallas Hill Bunn, 80, died Wednesday, April 20, 2011. Funeral service was held Thursday, April 21, in the chapel of Cornerstone Funeral Home, Nashville, with the Rev. Faye Jones officiating. Burial was in the Alford family cemetery in Pilot.

He was born in Franklin County, the son of the late Frank and Naomi Jeanes Bunn. He was a retired motor grader operator for the State of North Carolina with 42 years of service.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Faye Brewer Bunn, and brother, Bruitt Bunn.

Surviving: children, Dallas “Wayne” Bunn (Elaine) of Pilot, Randy Nelson (Miller) of Garner, Johnny Bunn of Atlanta, Ga., Jordice Bunn Cone (Dennis) of Middlesex, Pamela Bunn Guthrie Sutton (Kurt) of Tarboro, and Donnie Bunn of Rocky Mount; seven grandchildren; one step-grandson; and one great-grandchild.
