YOUNGSVILLE - George D. Murrell, 61, died Saturday, Oct. 28, 2006 at Craven Regional Medical Center in New Bern. The funeral service will be Friday, Nov. 3, at 1 p.m. at Olive Branch Baptist Church in Wake Forest. Burial will follow in the Wake Forest Cemetery.

He was born to the late Samuel Brown and Bertha Murrell in Trenton.

Surviving: a daughter, Sabrina Murrell-Brinson of Wake Forest; three sisters, Ellen Crouell of Trenton, Glenda Simmons of New Bern, and Linda Murrell of Trenton; brothers, Johnny Murrell of Brooklyn, N.Y. and David Murrell of Pamlico; and two grandchildren.
