CARY - Thomas McGrath, 71, formerly of Louisburg, died Friday, June 10, 2011 in Cary. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. today (Wednesday, June 15) at St. Andrew’s Church, 3008 Old Raleigh Road, Apex.

He was born in Paisley, Scotland and moved to the United States in 1963. In 1988, he moved to North Carolina to work with his sons as co-owner of a window washing company.  He retired in 1999.

Surviving: wife, Jeanie, also of Paisley, Scotland; sons, John McGrath (Zulma), Thomas McGrath (Elda), Mark McGrath (Nancy), all of Cary, and Gary McGrath (Chongsuk) of Charlotte; brothers, John and James McGrath of the U.K.; sister, Josephine Keyes of Syracuse, N.Y.; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
