LOUISBURG - Funeral services for James “Uncle Buddy” Campbell Jr., 85, who died Friday, June 17, 2011 will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 23, at Haywood Baptist Church, with the Rev. Douglas Harris officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Surviving: wife, Carrie Campbell of the home; daughters, Catherine Campbell of the home and Wanda White of Youngsville; son, James A. Campbell of the home; sisters, Bessie McNeil of Erwin and Margaret McClean of Bunn Level; brothers, Lonnie Campbell of Garner and Ernest Campbell of Zebulon; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Open visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 22, at Richardson Funeral Home, Louisburg.
